Program Overview

This minor program in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) provides students with a foundation in communication sciences and disorders. Through six core courses, students gain knowledge in human communication, multicultural issues, speech and language development, disorders in educational settings, clinical methods, and practical experience through a practicum. Graduates are qualified to work under the supervision of speech-language pathologists, assisting in speech and language programs and implementing therapy plans.
