Program Overview

This program prepares individuals for careers as heavy-duty mechanics, who work on a range of equipment in industries such as transportation, forestry, mining, oil and gas, construction, and agriculture. Mechanics may work indoors or outdoors, and must be comfortable with both sophisticated electronics and heavy machinery. The program includes hands-on problem-solving and training in the use of various equipment.
