The first year of engineering education provides a broad foundation in math and science, and exposure to various engineering specializations. Engineering graduates work in a wide range of industries and organizations, including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, geological, industrial, materials science, manufacturing, mechanical, mechatronics, metallurgical, mining, nanotechnology, nuclear, petroleum, and engineering management.
