Program Overview

The Social Justice Studies major equips students with a deep understanding of social justice issues, their historical and contemporary contexts, and the theories and practices of social justice movements. Through courses in theory, history, research methods, and application, students develop critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze social problems, and the skills to advocate for social change. This program prepares students for transfer to any CSU that accepts the Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC).
