Program Overview

The Substance Use Studies program at Concord University is an interdisciplinary program that examines substance use and substance use disorders from a biopsychosocial perspective. The program's core curriculum includes courses in psychology, social work, and sociology, and students can choose from a variety of electives to tailor their studies to their interests. Graduates of the program are prepared to work as substance abuse counselors and have the opportunity for growth in other careers.
