Program Overview

The Special Education, Specialized Diploma program prepares students to work as paraeducators in special education settings. The program covers topics such as introduction to special education, assessment, and instructional strategies. Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to support students with special needs and prepare for the Pennsylvania Department of Education Paraprofessional Certification exam.
