Program Overview

LIM College’s on-campus Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Visual Studies degree program is hands-on and studio-based, allowing students to develop a deep understanding of visual storytelling across creative disciplines.


Accreditation

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the BBA in Visual Studies program takes a cross-disciplinary approach to learning the fundamental areas of visual communication.


Curriculum & Careers

Visual Studies Courses

LIM’s Visual Studies program curriculum combines liberal arts and core business courses with instruction in fundamental areas of visual media including digital design, visual styling, creative direction, digital photography, and more.


Key courses include:


  • Color and Design
  • Creative Direction and Styling in Visual Presentation
  • Digital Photography and Imaging
  • 3D Digital Design

Students can also gain hands-on experience by taking the Student-Run Concept Shop course, where they assume the role of creative directors planning a visual display for real LIM products in an immersive retail environment.


Minors in Visual Studies

Regardless of major, undergraduate degree-seeking students at LIM can select any one of more than 20 minors to complement their major course of study.
