Fashion Marketing, MPS

Program Overview

The MPS in Fashion Marketing program is a one-year, 30-credit program. Bringing strategy, creativity, and technology together, you will learn how to use digital platforms to help fashion brands create awareness, generate demand, and drive sales.


Curriculum & Careers

Fashion Marketing Courses

Fashion Marketing courses focus on developing the skills and knowledge that today’s fashion employers require. As you learn how to predict trends and build brands, you will explore consumer decision-making, digital marketing channels, working in global markets, and more. Sample program courses include:


  • Advanced Web Analytics and SEO
  • eCommerce, mCommerce, and sCommerce Marketing
  • Global Luxury Brand Marketing
  • Strategic Digital Communications in the Fashion Industry

You can also opt to complete the Career Success Track, which consists of three internship or career seminar courses.


Program Specializations

Starting in Fall 2024, on-campus Fashion Marketing students can choose between two program specializations:


  • Digital Media Marketing: Prepare for a career in digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), or data analytics.
  • Strategic and Digital Marketing: Gain expertise in reaching target audiences through social media, online advertising, mobile marketing, and influencer marketing.

International Student Information

This is a STEM-designated program. Graduate students on an F-1 visa who receive a STEM degree can apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion OPT if they have a job/job offer from an E-Verify employer and meet the required criteria.


Students in this program may apply to do CPT starting their first semester.
