Program Overview

The Construction Engineering Technician program at Loyalist College combines classroom instruction, hands-on field experience, and lab work to prepare students for careers in building construction management, design, and inspection. The program emphasizes industry-specific technologies, sustainability practices, and adherence to industry standards. Graduates are eligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and can pursue positions in site supervision, building inspection, construction project coordination, and more.
