Business Administration (BS): Finance Concentration

Overview

The Business Administration (BS): Finance Concentration program at NC State University is designed to prepare students for a wide range of careers in business or industry, including new product development, marketing, manufacturing, human resources, IT management, business analysis, banking, and finance. The program focuses on financial markets, the allocation of financial resources by individuals, corporations, and other groups, and the tools financial managers use to make business decisions.


Curriculum Overview

The finance concentration curriculum includes topics such as financial analysis and management, investment analysis and portfolio management, financial markets, business valuation, risk management, personal finance, and international finance. The program is designed to prepare students in the following areas:
