Degree Overview:
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Neuroscience program at Rowan University prepares students to make an impact in medicine or research through experiential learning and interdisciplinary training. The requirements are presented as a general list for all applicants:
- High School Transcript: A high school transcript is required. If not in English, a certified English translation is necessary. A Foreign Credential Evaluation Report is optional.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency: International students must submit standardized test scores unless they are exempt. Specific test codes are provided for TOEFL (2515), PTE (M7V), and Duolingo (add Rowan University to "My Colleges"). Official IELTS scores can be verified with the TRF# in the bottom right corner.
- Performing/Creative Arts Majors: Students applying to art, music, theater, and dance majors need to submit an audition or portfolio review.
- Transfer Students: Students with 12 or more college credits must submit college transcripts (and certified English translations if not in English). All official transcripts are required before the semester begins. A Foreign Credential Evaluation Report is optional.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
International students must demonstrate English language proficiency unless exempt. Acceptable tests include TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, and IELTS. The ELP is a non-credit program to improve English skills before university enrollment.
