Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • High School Transcript: A high school transcript is required.
  • If the transcript is not in English, a certified English translation is necessary. A Foreign Credential Evaluation Report is optional.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency: International students must submit standardized test scores unless they are exempt.
  • Specific codes are provided for TOEFL (2515), Pearson Test of English (PTE) (M7V), and Duolingo (add Rowan University to "My Colleges" list). Official IELTS score reports can be verified with the TRF# in the bottom right corner.
  • Performing or Creative Arts Majors: Students applying to programs in art, music, theater, and dance must submit an audition or portfolio review.
  • Transfer Students: Students who have completed 12 or more college credits at another institution must submit their college transcripts.
  • If transcripts are not in English, a certified English translation is necessary. All official transcripts are required before the semester begins. A Foreign Credential Evaluation Report is optional.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

International students must provide proof of English language proficiency unless exempt. Acceptable tests include TOEFL, PTE, IELTS, and Duolingo. The ELP is a non-credit program designed to help students improve their English skills before entering university.
