Program Overview

Broward College's Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education program equips students with the knowledge and skills to work effectively with young children in various settings. Through a combination of coursework and practical experience, students prepare for careers as early childhood educators, preschool teachers, childcare center directors, and more. The program includes foundational coursework in child development, curriculum planning, and child guidance, as well as general education courses and practicum experiences.
