Economics, Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T)

Overview

The Economics Program at Santa Barbara City College provides students with a solid foundation to build analytical skills, improving decision-making processes in various aspects of life. Courses in economics offer theoretical and empirical foundations, preparing students for further study in fields like environmental studies, global and international studies, sociology, history, and economics.


Requirements

Associate Degree for Transfer Graduation Requirements

  • Complete all Department Requirements listed below with a "C" or better or "P" in each course.
  • Complete IGETC-CSU or the CSU GE Breadth pattern.
  • Complete a total of 60 CSU transferable semester units.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative CSU transferable GPA of 2.0.
  • Complete a minimum of 12 units through SBCC.
