About Program
Program Overview
This program provides an introduction to residential construction through four consecutive courses in framing, finish carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. It prepares students for entry-level positions in the construction industry and provides a foundation for further study in the Construction Technology program. Students will learn basic construction tools and safety practices, as well as the fundamentals of framing, finish carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
