Program Overview

The Elementary Education (M.Ed.) program at UNH prepares students for elementary school teaching certification. Students begin preparation at the undergraduate level and complete a fifth year of graduate studies, including a full year of internship with professional coursework. Graduate students with a baccalaureate degree may also enter the program. To be considered for admission, students must obtain a qualifying score on all three Core exams (Reading, Writing, and Mathematics).
