Degree Overview:
The National Security Intelligence Analysis Master of Science (MS) program at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) is designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the fields of government, the private sector, and the not-for-profit sector by addressing the complex challenges of our time.
Objectives:
- Develop a deep understanding of national security issues, strategies, and policies both domestically and internationally.
- Gain advanced knowledge of national security intelligence as a phenomenon and the operations of intelligence organizations around the world.
- Attain proficiency in designing and conducting original qualitative and quantitative research.
- Acquire the ability to ethically collect, clean, organize, and store data in accordance with institutional, legal, and professional standards.
- Achieve a high level of analytical excellence, including critical thinking, both qualitative and quantitative methods, and the mitigation of inherent and induced uncertainty.
- Enhance writing, editing, presentation, and organizational skills.
Program Structure:
The NSIA program is fully offered online, structured to be completed within one calendar year for full-time students or two years for part-time students. The curriculum comprises ten courses (30 credits) delivered online.
