Program Overview

This program prepares students for careers as recreation therapists, providing them with the skills to work with individuals with disabilities, design and manage recreation programs, and conduct research and evaluation. The program includes core requirements in recreation and tourism, therapeutic recreation, and management, as well as support courses in human anatomy and physiology, human development, and statistics. Graduates are qualified to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, and community recreation centers.
