Program Overview

The Adaptive Sports Option prepares professionals for administrative roles in the adaptive sports sector, including positions in parks and recreation, rehabilitation hospitals, and non-profit organizations. Students gain knowledge in leisure service delivery, psychology, sociology, and research methods. The program offers a capstone option of either a thesis or portfolio track, and graduates are prepared for careers in various settings where they can promote the benefits of recreation and leisure for individuals with disabilities.
