Program Overview

The Substance Use Disorders Graduate Certificate program equips students with specialized knowledge and skills in substance use disorders, including assessment, treatment planning, and counseling. The program comprises 12 credit hours, including required courses on addiction assessment and treatment, and two elective courses tailored to students' interests. Graduates are prepared for careers in substance use disorder treatment agencies, hospitals, and other settings where they can provide specialized support to individuals and families affected by substance use.
