Program Overview

The Technical Writing and Public Speaking cognate equips students with advanced communication skills in both written and spoken forms. It includes introductory courses in public speaking and professional writing, as well as advanced courses in civic public speaking and advanced professional writing. Students who complete the cognate will be well-prepared for careers in various fields that value effective communication.
