Program Overview

Eastern Michigan University's Bachelor of Music Education program prepares students for K-12 music teaching careers in Michigan. The five-year program combines foundational coursework, field-based learning, and student teaching, equipping students with a strong foundation in music and teaching skills. Graduates are eligible for initial certification and prepared for careers in music education and related fields.
