Program Overview

The Science Literacy Minor offers a foundation in science through core courses in astronomy, chemistry, earth science, mathematics, and physics. Students can choose from restricted electives in astronomy, oceanography, and energy and society. This minor prepares students for careers in fields such as public policy, journalism, law, business, and environmental science.
