Program Overview

The Secondary Education Social Studies/History Comprehensive Major at Eastern Michigan University equips students to teach History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics in middle and high school. The program combines coursework in these disciplines with a foundation in teaching theory and practice, preparing graduates for a Secondary Standard Certificate endorsed in social studies.
