Program Overview

Eastern Michigan University's Theatre Arts M.A. program combines theoretical and practical training in performance, research, and critical analysis. It prepares students for careers in professional or educational theatre, or for advanced scholarly or creative work. The program requires 30 credit hours, including core courses in performance inquiry, research techniques, and dramaturgy.
