Academic Transition Pathway Program

Program Overview

The Academic Transition Pathway (ATP) program at Wilfrid Laurier International College prepares students for success in their chosen degree program at Wilfrid Laurier University. The program offers three pathways based on IELTS scores, providing language and academic support. Students can transfer credits towards their degree upon successful completion of the two-semester (ATP I) or one-semester (ATP II and ATP III) programs, which are delivered in a hybrid-flexible format.

• The program offers a bridge to academic success, helping students achieve their language and academic goals.
• The ATP program has three different pathways, depending on the student's IELTS score:
• ATP I: Two-Semester Pathway (IELTS 5.0 or equivalent)
• ATP II: One-Semester Pathway (IELTS 5.5 – 6.0 or equivalent)
• ATP III: One-Semester Pathway (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent)
• Students in ATP I will participate in a two-semester program and will be able to transfer 2.5 credits toward their degree program upon successful completion.
