The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Sports and Entertainment degree is a multi-faceted program that will help you become successful in a number of areas. The primary purpose of the BSBA program at the Walker School is to produce graduates who have the knowledge and skills to be upwardly mobile within any type of business organization.
The specialized Sports and Entertainment emphasis provides students with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to succeed in the business side of sports and entertainment, in addition to the skills provided in the Business Administration core curriculum.
Not only is the administration of academic and professional sports and athletic franchises a large and growing business in the U.S. and around the world, using professional sports venues to host live entertainment events is just as big. These events might include concerts, ice events, children's shows - you name it. This program is designed to be an all-inclusive approach so graduates of the program have what is necessary to be successful in both areas.
