This part-time or full-time Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program prepares students to work with clients of all ages in home and special care settings. Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or successful completion of 15 post-secondary credits from a recognized institution.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • Applicants will be required to provide evidence of the following prior to entering the clinical component of the program:
  • Food Safe Level 1
  • Professional Assault Response Training (PART)
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Heartsaver ‘C’ AED or equivalent
  • Transfer, Lift, Repositioning (TLR)
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Respiratory FIT test
  • A current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
  • Current immunization records
