Program Overview

The Refrigeration (3rd Class) program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Great Plains College provides students with the knowledge and skills to work in industrial refrigeration applications. The program covers topics such as multiple compressor arrangements, vapor compression, and absorption refrigeration, as well as auxiliaries, capacity controls, and basic refrigeration calculations. Graduates of the program are prepared for careers in the power engineering industry.
