Program Overview

The PhD in Applied Life Sciences program at Keck Graduate Institute trains scientists for research and development roles in bioscience, industry, or academia. Students develop expertise in applied bioscience, interdisciplinary problem-solving, and translating knowledge into practical applications. The program offers two tracks: Applied PhD Track and Industry-Sponsored PhD Track, with residential and non-residential options. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in the applied biosciences.
