Overview
The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) is a four-year full-time or six-year part-time course that prepares students for a dynamic and fulfilling career in occupational therapy. The course is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council (Australia and New Zealand) Ltd (OTC) and upon graduation, students can apply for professional registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Course Structure
The course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices. Students will learn about the human body, lifespan development, health promotion, and healthcare in Australia. They will also develop skills in communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) can work as occupational therapists in public and private hospitals, rehabilitation units, community health centres, aged care facilities, mental health services, schools, independent living centres, and in private practice. They can also work in research, education, and training.
