Program Overview

The Veterinary Technology program at Foothill College is a two-year, AVMA-accredited program that prepares students for careers as Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs). The program emphasizes hands-on learning and personal attention, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine and entry-level clinical skills. Graduates are eligible to sit for the VTNE and pursue careers in various veterinary settings, including animal hospitals, clinics, and research laboratories.
