Program Overview

The Eyecare Specialist program at North-West College prepares students to assist optometrists and ophthalmologists in providing eye-related medical care. The program covers various aspects of eyecare, including dispensing, chairside assistance, contact lens fitting, and front office operations. Graduates are eligible to take the American Association of Opticianry examination and pursue entry-level positions in the field.
