Program Description
Shoreline Community College offers a short-term Certificate of Completion (CC) in Accounts Receivable Clerk/Accounts Payable Clerk leading to an entry-level accounting clerk position. Students interested in advancement are encouraged to enroll in longer courses of study to complete additional certificates or associate degrees in Associate Degrees in Accounting. Students pursuing a four-year baccalaureate degree should follow the Associate in Business, DTA/MRP Planning Guide.
Certificate of Completion (20 Credits)
- Minimum grade of 2.0 in each Accounting course required.
Program Prerequisites
- Placement into ENGL 99 or equivalent, and placement into MATH 98.

- BUS 150 Business Spreadsheet Fundamentals
- ACCT 206 Computer Accounting
Certificate Completion
Students should automatically receive their Certificate after successful completion of all required courses.
