Program Description:
This program will provide students with a solid foundation in communication and digital media studies. Students will learn about the history, theory, and practice of communication and media, as well as gain hands-on experience in creating and analyzing media content. The program will also provide students with the opportunity to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Outline:
The program consists of 40 courses, including 10 courses that will be transferred from Durham College. The remaining 30 courses will be taken at Ontario Tech University. The program is divided into three years, with each year consisting of two semesters.

Entry Requirements:
Students who have successfully completed a General Arts and Science Certificate - Ontario Tech University Liberal Arts Transfer/University Transfer option at Durham College may apply for direct admission into the second year of the Communication and Digital Media Studies program. Eligible applicants must achieve a minimum grade of 70 per cent in each college prerequisite course with an overall average of 77 per cent or higher.
