Program Overview

The Cosmetology Instructor Training (Fast Track) program at Olympic College is a 16-credit Certificate of Recognition program that prepares students to become effective instructors of Cosmetology or Esthetics. It covers topics such as teaching and learning theory, classroom management, basic teaching skills, professional development, and cadet clinic lab. The program requires 200 hours of training and 300 hours of documented professional work experience in cosmetology or esthetics. Graduates are prepared for careers as Cosmetology or Esthetics instructors in various settings.
