The Master of Professional Psychology at James Cook University is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a registered psychologist. The program focuses on the provision of healthcare within the Tropics, preparing students to practice in regional and remote communities, as well as metropolitan areas.

Entry Requirements

• Provisional registration as a psychologist in Australia
• AQF level 8 bachelor honours degree accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council with GPA of 5.0 or above
• AQF level 8 graduate diploma accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council with GPA of 5.0 or above

How to Apply

• Submit two referee reports via the National Psychology Referee System
• Complete and upload required forms and documentary evidence with the application
• Short-listing of applicants will be undertaken in March with interview offers sent in late March
• Interviews will occur in mid-April
