Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Education - Music - Grades K-12 Certification - Instrumental Emphasis degree at MSSU prepares students to teach music to K-12 students. The program combines music theory, history, and performance with pedagogical techniques to equip students with the knowledge and skills to empower students through music. Graduates are qualified to become elementary/secondary level music teachers or pursue careers in marching bands and school orchestras.
