Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Medical Spanish from Elizabethtown College equips healthcare professionals with the skills to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in patient care. Through courses in medical terminology, cultural sensitivity, and interpretation, graduates gain the knowledge and tools to provide compassionate and effective care to Hispanic/Latinx patients. The program consists of 15 credit hours of academic work, including four courses instructed in Spanish, and prepares students for certification exams.
