Skyline College's ABA Approved Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies prepares students to work as a professional paralegal in a law firm, businesses, government, or nonprofit organization. The Associate's Degree is the right choice for students who have already completed a college degree. The Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies can be completed 100% online. Pursuant to ABA Guidelines, students who choose this option must complete at least nine paralegal course units through instruction on Zoom that includes real-time faculty-to-student and student-to-student interaction. In addition to instruction on Zoom, courses will also be conducted on the College's approved learning management system and will include dynamic, human-centric, and engaging learning experiences for every student. Students who enroll in our 100% online paralegal program will have access to all the student support services the College has to offer such as counseling, library services, tutoring, health services, accommodations for students with disabilities, financial aid, and more.

  • Identify, explain, and give examples of key elements of U.S. law, legal systems, ethical considerations, and/or professional procedures.
