Program Overview

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) M.S.N.-A.P.R.N. program is a 51-credit program that prepares students for high-demand positions in healthcare settings. The curriculum includes advanced nursing roles, theory and research, advanced pathophysiology, evidence and practice, advanced pharmacology, advanced health assessment, health promotion and disease prevention, healthcare policy and leadership, behavioral health for advanced practice nurses, primary care adult I and II, primary care pediatrics, primary care women, and a family nurse practitioner capstone. Graduates are prepared for careers as family nurse practitioners, nurse practitioners, advanced practice registered nurses, nurse educators, and nurse researchers.
