About Program
Program Overview
The Dual Admission Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) program is a seven- or eight-year program that combines undergraduate and medical education. Students can choose between a 3+4 program, where they complete three years of undergraduate study before entering medical school, or a 4+4 program, where they complete an undergraduate degree before starting medical school. The program emphasizes compassionate care and humanism, and students participate in clinical settings from the first month of the D.O. program. Graduates of the program are eligible to practice as osteopathic physicians, one of the fastest-growing health professions in the country.
