The Doctor of Public Administration (D.P.A.) program at Nova Southeastern University equips emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills to lead and manage in the public and nonprofit sectors. Overview:

The Doctor of Public Administration (D.P.A.) program at Nova Southeastern University is designed to prepare emerging leaders in public service. The program provides a grounding in the theories and applications of management and policy in the public and nonprofit sectors.


Objectives:

Graduates of the D.P.A. program will be able to:

  • Lead and motivate teams in the public and nonprofit sectors
  • Analyze and solve complex problems in the public and nonprofit sectors

Program Description:

The D.P.A. program is a 60-credit program that can be completed in as little as 3 years. The program is offered in an online (synchronous) format, primarily on Saturdays from 8 am - 5 pm. Attendance at on-campus end-of-term seminars may also be required periodically during the program.
