Program Overview

The Health Care Aide program is a 32-week full-time program offered in both Fall and Winter intakes. Students will learn about the role and responsibilities of a health care aide, the human body, health and chronic illness, communication and documentation in the health care environment, and providing person-centered care and comfort. Graduates will find employment opportunities with continuing care facilities, assisted living facilities, community agencies, and private individuals.
