How does the program work?
Interested in how businesses bring products to market and what makes them successful? Then you understand the importance of building a strong brand message. Build your own brand by anticipating the needs of the job market. When you combine your BA in Marketing with the MBA, you'll be able to bring your skills to the market faster and distinguish yourself from your competitors - both key elements of marketing success.

The marketing major is designed for the student planning a career in sales, advertising, consumer relations, marketing management, retailing services, small business operations, or international business. Students develop a breadth of knowledge about the dynamic consumer orientation process by which people and organizations strive to anticipate and satisfy customers' product needs and wants. The student develops an understanding of marketing concepts and functions.
This major is offered only at University College. The major in business administration with a marketing specialization is no longer offered at University College. Students who are awarded the B.A. in marketing may not earn the B.A. in business administration with a specialization in marketing or vice versa.

- Write for a company blog. Promote a new product. Conduct market research. College of Business students have interned at Quest Corporation of America, Oglethorpe, Tampa Convention Center, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Home Shopping Network, TECO Energy and all branches of the military.
- Networking
- The inaugural Executive Advisory Council to the College of Business includes distinguished members from Ernst & Young, Tribridge, T. Rowe Price Services, Newport News Shipbuilding, Tech Data Corporation and Catalina Services.
- Memberships
- Join the student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and become an active member in its honor society, Alpha Mu Alpha.
- Conferences
- Attend annual and regional AMA conferences, and other industry events, including Saint Leo's annual International Business Conference.
