Program Overview

The Ph.D. in Civil Engineering is a research degree that prepares scholars in a civil engineering specialty. The curriculum includes coursework and dissertation research, with a total of 51 semester hours for the M.S. to Ph.D. track and 69 semester hours for the B.S. to Ph.D. track. Students must satisfy prerequisites and articulation courses, and are expected to enroll in Graduate Seminar each semester of full-time status.
