Program Overview

The Health Informatics and Information Management program prepares students for careers in managing and analyzing health information. The curriculum includes two years of basic science and general education courses, followed by two years of intensive coursework in health informatics and information management, including laboratory and supervised clinical experiences. Graduates are eligible to take the national certification examination to become a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
