Program Overview

The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree from Green River College provides a foundation for students pursuing advanced education or careers in Art. It offers a broad curriculum in Basic Skills, Humanities/Fine Arts/English, Social Science, Natural Science, and Specific Requirements, including studio art courses and art electives. Students may choose to complete optional concentrations in Ceramics, Design, Photography, or Studio.
