Entry Requirements:
To enter this program, students must have completed a minimum of a two-year associate degree in forestry or a related field. Students who have completed some college coursework but do not have an associate degree or higher are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor in the Natural Resources department to develop an educational plan to prepare for entry into the program. Students must attain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 prior to entry into the BAS degree path. Students must complete and submit an entry application and be accepted into the program before registering for any upper-division (300- and 400-level) courses. The following courses or their equivalents are critical to your success in the program and contain foundational knowledge upon which upper-division courses in natural resources build. Substitutions of required Natural Resources courses may be made with the department’s prior approval when it is agreed that the student’s suitability for employment will be enhanced.
