Program Overview

This program prepares students for careers in realtime transcription, court reporting, and captioning. It covers legal and medical terminology, machine shorthand theory and practice, computer-aided transcription, and court reporting procedures. Graduates may pursue careers as realtime court reporters, captioners, or freelance or official judicial reporters.
